Agricultural gearboxes maintenance and care points
Agricultural gearboxes are key components of agricultural machinery. Proper maintenance and care can extend their service life and ensure their normal operation.

First, it is crucial to check the oil regularly. The oil provides lubrication and cooling for the gears and other components inside the agricultural gearboxes. The oil level should be checked at the time intervals specified in the equipment manual to ensure that the oil level is within the normal range. If the oil level is too low, it may cause insufficient lubrication and aggravate component wear. At the same time, regular oil replacement should not be ignored, because as the use time increases, the oil will be contaminated, mixed with impurities and metal debris, and generally it should be replaced every certain working time or reaching a certain amount of work.
Secondly, pay attention to the sealing of agricultural gearboxes. In an agricultural environment, dust, soil and moisture can easily invade the gearbox. Check whether the seals are intact, such as oil seals, sealing gaskets, etc. If oil leakage is found at the seal, the seal should be replaced in time to prevent dust and moisture from entering the gearbox to avoid corrosion and wear of components such as gears and bearings.
In addition, it is also critical to check the wear of gears and bearings. In daily maintenance, you can make a preliminary judgment by listening to the sound. If there is abnormal noise during operation, such as metal friction or impact, it may be that the gear is seriously worn or the bearing is damaged. At this time, it should be disassembled and inspected in time, and the worn parts should be replaced if necessary.
