Daily storage of PVD coated stainless steel sheet

PVD coated stainless steel sheet is a material with unique properties and appearance. Special attention should be paid to ensure that its quality and performance are not affected during daily storage.

First of all, the storage environment is crucial. A dry and well-ventilated place should be selected, and storage should be avoided in a humid, watery or corrosive gas environment, because moisture and corrosive substances may corrode the coating and stainless steel substrate, causing rust or coating damage. The storage space should be kept clean to avoid the accumulation of dust and impurities and prevent them from adhering to the surface of the sheet.

In terms of placement, try to avoid friction and collision between sheets. Suitable isolation materials can be used to separate different sheets to prevent the coating from being scratched. At the same time, ensure that the sheets are placed stably to prevent damage caused by tipping or sliding.

For unused PVD coated stainless steel sheet, it should be properly packaged. Plastic film or other suitable packaging materials can be used to wrap it to prevent dust, moisture, etc. from entering. Pay attention to sealing when packaging to avoid interference from external factors.

Check the stored sheets regularly. Check whether there is rust, coating shedding, etc., and deal with problems in time if they are found. If dust or impurities are found, wipe them gently with a soft, clean cloth.

Also, be careful not to put heavy objects on the PVD coated stainless steel sheet to prevent deformation of the sheet. At the same time, keep away from fire and high temperature areas to prevent the coating from being damaged by high temperature.
